The State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) has worked hard to maintain the national economy amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic that have been faced since 2020.
In 2020 state budget spending reached IDR 2,595.5 trillion with a deficit that soared due to the pandemic, reaching IDR 947.7 trillion. Then, in 2021 APBN spending will increase to IDR 2,786.4 trillion but with a deficit that has decreased sharply to IDR 775.1 trillion.
The reduced deficit indicates that the COVID-19 pandemic has begun to be managed and the Indonesian economy is starting to recover.
